Step 3 -Ch 2 and work 2 more dc stitches into the ring. You will get your first corner.

 

Step 4 - Repeat the 3 steps, to have six corners.

 

Step 5 - Join the slip stitch to the top of the ch 3 to close the round. Tie off your first color and weave in the end.

 

Step 6 - Join your second color of yarn in any corner. Ch 3 ( this will count as your first dc). Work 1 more DC stitch into the same corner space.

 

Step 7 - Next, ch 1 and work 2 more DC stitches into the same corner space. This creates your first corner of the second round.

 

Step 8 - Work with 2 dc stitches into the next 2 ch space, ch 1, and work 2 more dc stitches into the same space. This is the next corner.

 

Step 9 - Repeat step 8 four more times, and you will get six corners in the second round.

 

Step 10 - Join the SL at the top of ch 3 to close the round. Tie off your first color and weave in the end.

 

Step 11 - Join your first yarn color in any chain 1 space. Ch 3 ( this will count as your first dc). Work 1 more DC stitch into the same corner space.

 

Step 12 - Work with 2 dc stitches into the next 2 ch space, ch 1, and work 2 more dc stitches into the same space. This creates the first corner of the third round.

 

Step 13 - Repeat step 12 four more times, and you will get six corners in the third round.

 

Step 14 -  Join the SL at the top of ch 3 to close the round. Tie off your first color and weave in the end.

 

Step 15 - Repeat steps 6-14 with an alternative color for each round. In the end, you will get the desired result.
